Anti-rodent methods for optical cable mainly comprise chemical anti-rodent and physical anti-rodent methods:
Chemical anti-rodent methods: chemical anti-rodent method is to add rat repellents in outer sheath of optical cable by certain of proportion for the purpose of rat prevention: rat repellents commonly used comprise synthetic lindane and synthetic capsaicine.
